Preparing the 2nd Teachers’ Meeting.

With a good warmer you can put your students into English mode; attentive, interested and ready to participate. A warmer can also serve to review language from a previous lesson or prime the class for a new topic.”

What is a warmer?

Is it important?

Prepare a (maximum) 5 minutes warmer and present it to the other teachers. It can be a “group cohesion building” warmer, or a “revision” warmer.

I will demonstrate some warmers as well. They will be a way to review what we have discussed in the previous training session. 

2nd review/warmer: I will be using this photo and ask "At what stage of the pyramid we saw last time do you think we could tie this technical teacher?"

The answer could well be 90% (clear slide, real objects like a cocktail glass and bottles, the possibility to practice, to make that cocktail right away…

1st game style review/warmer: 
I will draw a pyramid we worked on during our previous session on the board with only the percentages. On a table I will display the corresponding information on independent slips of paper. My students (the teachers) will have to run to the board, using blue tack, and stick the correct information in front of the right percentage in a minimum of time.
