These tests have been taken by our year 1 and year 2 students on August 6/7 and 10/11. 2020. There content is based on what has been taught online since we closed the schools on March 16th.

Saint François Technical High School conducted some tests with all the students. Class by class, for 2 days, they came in our premises to be tested on everything that has been taught online since march 16th, which is the day all schools closed in Cambodia because of the Covid19 pandemic.
The main point of these tests was to let us know exactly what our students had really learnt during the incredible Covid19 period!
The results are not very encouraging: only 50% passed in year one and 62.5% in year two.
What to thinks of that?
The problem comes from both students and teachers.
Like everybody else in the world, we were not prepared to this completely new situation of closed schools and online teaching from March 16th. The result is that we did what we could, our best certainly but still… not enough!
No matter how much efforts the teachers put in their teaching, a lot or far less, the results of the students are more or less the same.
The question should be: How do we get ready for the next pandemic?
